The Real Mike & Jenn are amazing, and I highly recommend them to ANYONE seeking to purchase or sell a home! Professional, faithful, and service-oriented are but three of the exemplary traits my wife and I experienced first-hand during and even after our purchase journey with Mike and Jenn. Please allow me to provide examples: 1) Professional - Basic agents send auto-listings via email then wait for you to request viewings. Professional agents (Mike and Jenn) listen, learn and adapt to your unique home preferences, confirm your scheduling availability, then proactively book viewings for you. Mike and Jenn consistently identified, recommended, and booked viewings for homes they felt would fit us. And even if they did not fit, we felt good knowing our agents were proactively booking opportunities on our behalf instead of passively awaiting orders from us. 2) Faithful - Issues are par for the course during the purchase journey. But Mike and Jenn remained steadfast and guided us expertly when issues arose—i.e., original purchase contract fell through, subsequent sellers were reticent to negotiate or were slow to respond during contingency, etc. They were always positive, educational, and solution-oriented to get the job done. And they responded quickly to questions and demonstrated an incredible knack for articulating next-step options. Jenn’s bubbly, go-getter attitude and deep real estate procedural experience combined with Mike’s even-keeled, patient, make it happen approach, make them a joy to interact with. They are a formidable husband and wife tag team. While the above traits are a testament to their patience, wherewithal, and good nature, the faithfulness I an alluding to is about the "spirit" in which they conduct their affairs. Mike and Jenn want the best for those they serve, sale or no sale (of course, we did buy); conducting their business as a service to God. One of my favorite examples of this "faith" in action occurred when my family first viewed the home we eventually purchased. Originally a rental, the home had many tenants throughout the years, one of whom hid a symbolically disturbing artifact in the wall of one of the bedrooms. My daughter discovered the artifact, yelped, and ran out the front door with a look of concern. As my wife and I consoled her in the front yard, Mike checked on her briefly, then left to enter back into the home. My daughter was fine, just startled, so minutes later, I reentered the home and headed to the bedroom to investigate the disturbance. To my surprise, Mike was already there, kneeling over the artifact, quietly praying for the success of our family, good tidings for the home, and dissolution of any negative forces. I too entered the room, bowed my head and closed my eyes to join him in prayer. While my family does not practice the same faith as Mike, nor were we overly concerned by the artifact, I share this story to express how comforting this act was and our gratefulness for his incredibly kind gesture. There is no need to preach one’s faith when you have the habit of “demonstrating” it. Mike simply chose to exercise and share his faith with us willingly and without fanfare; thus, revealing the noble intentions of he and his wife’s (Jenn’s) hearts for our family. I am a firm believer one’s faith shows up in their work effort, communication, and deeds, especially when no one else is looking. Well, I was looking, and observed Mike and Jenn operated faithfully not only at that moment, but throughout the entirety of our interactions with them. 3) Service-Oriented – It is one thing to receive diligent, timely follow-up during the purchase journey. But imagine receiving occasional check-in calls or texts just because, thoughtful gifts to warm the home, and even a wonderful concert and date night outing post sale. There is no need to imagine when working with the Mike and Jenn. That is how they operate and we are grateful for the experience. My wife and I refer to them as "Super Agents" because they are great agents and even better human beings. Amazing experience!
